Located in the heart of Ixelles, the Renaissance Hotel Brussels is part of the Marriott group and embodies the brand’s refined approach to hospitality: contemporary comfort, understated elegance, and a strong focus on the guest experience. As part of an extensive, multi-phase renovation of the hotel’s apartments, BB Design was appointed to refresh and modernize the interiors while ensuring uninterrupted hotel operations. The goal was clear: to transform outdated layouts into welcoming, functional spaces that truly feel like a “home away from home”—a core value of the Apartments by Marriott concept.

A hospitality experience reimagined

The primary objective of the renovation was to enhance the guest experience and strengthen the hotel’s appeal in a highly competitive hospitality market. BB Design developed a soft, timeless interior concept using beige and sand tones, complemented by warm lighting to create calm, inviting spaces. The design balances comfort and durability, ensuring each apartment meets the expectations of long-stay guests while remaining operationally efficient for hotel management.
